well-thee now, My 7 step action plan for optimal health

Starting low carbohydrate diet and continuous glucose monitor

We specifically look at carbohydrates and how excessive intake leads to chronic hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance, the precursor for most lifestyle diseases. You will be empowered with the knowledge and confidence to implement your own low-carbohydrate diet and will track your progress using a continuous glucose monitor (cgm) and will get valuable real time feedback. Check out my cgm blog to learn more about the cgm.

Reintroducing carbs

Learn the ideal way to reintroduce carbs without worsening underlying metabolic health. You will learn how, how much, when and which carb to reintroduce. Your continuous glucose monitor will be incredibly valuable during this leg of your journey

Optimizing body composition

As you are loosing weight, it's important to prioritize visceral fat loss and preserve muscle loss. You will receive 21 baseline body measurements using a 3D body scanner to assess health risk. We will also set goals to lower risk of heart disease, cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.

Mindful eating

We will explore various triggers, events and places that make you want to eat. Excessive, mindless eating has a direct impact on our physical and emotional health. We will help you understand how you can use hunger and fullness cues to promote mindful eating and help you design and strategize a non-food action plan during those vulnerable times when you are drawn to food outside of true hunger.

Optimizing muscle mass and muscle function

Your muscle is the most efficient drainage system for your blood glucose. For someone with Prediabetes, optimizing structural and functional component of muscle is very important. You will get a baseline and follow-up assessment of your body composition over 12 weeks.

Optimizing sleep

Sleep is the Swiss Army Knife of health! Whatever ailment you face, it’s more than likely that restorative sleep can help fix it. Welcome to Sleep 101! Learn everything about sleep and how you can access your own “restorative sleep”.

Getting support and feedback at every step

You will join my online patient community and will get support not only from other patients but also from our health coaches. You will also work very closely with my incredible team of dietitians who will offer the support and the guidance to help you make this sustainable.
