Immune Boosting Broth

 

Here’s what you need:

8 oz of full salt broth of your choice: vegetable/bone/chicken/beef/turkey

1 teaspoon of butter

¼ teaspoon ground turmeric

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

¼ tsp of ground ginger

1 teaspoon ground flax seed

1 teaspoon dried mushroom powder

1 teaspoon nutritional yeast (I use Bragg’s Nutritional Yeast or one from Trader Joe’s)

1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves or Kasoori Methi (found in Indian grocery store or Amazon)

Pinch of asafetida powder or Hing (found in Indian grocery store or Amazon)

 

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and heat in microwave for 1 minute. I recommend having this broth daily, during the fasting period.

 

Vitamin D: I recommend 1000 IU daily. You need more if you are deficient in Vitamin D

 

Magnesium: I recommend magnesium glycinate 300mg daily at bedtime
